Welcome and thank you for taking the time to read my blog. My name is Jessie and I created Twenty Two Lavender in 2014 as a young college student. I have always appreciated style and aesthetics, so when I chose a path as an educator, I knew I needed something to fulfill my love of styling and creating.
What started as an outlet to share my personal style has evolved into a representation of my journey as a young Asian American woman. TTL serves as my retreat - a place where I can share my experiences, growth, opinions, and aspirations with other like minded women. Whether you're here for style tips, help with your skincare journey, travel inspiration, or the little things in between, I hope you find value and inspiration here.
+ I am a 29 year old Asian American born and raised in Southern California.
+ I am a dog mom to two dachshunds, Oscar and Oliver.
+ My husband, Tim, and I met in college. We have been together for almost 8 years and got married in 2019.
+ I am a former 1st grade teacher.
+ I love traveling to cities, but I love beaches even more.
+ You'll find us in Hawaii a few times a year since that's where my husband is from.
+ I am an introvert who believes in quality over quantity.
