Living in Southern California means that linen is a staple in my closet all year long, but there’s something idyllic about linen in the summer. Linen is a great fabric for the warmer months as it’s lightweight and breathable. Not only does linen give you that effortless I’m-on-holiday-in-Europe look, but it’s better for the environment since it’s more sustainable and biodegradable than other fabrics. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found myself gravitating more towards linen shorts during summer instead of denim shorts. I’ve had these Rachel Pally Sandy Shorts for over a year, and I can honestly say that they are the perfect everyday shorts.
