I’m back with another monthly beauty roundup. If you missed my first beauty roundup of 2020, check it out here. March was all about providing and maintaining hydration to my winter ridden skin. Below is an overview of the three products I’ll be reviewing.
I had mixed feelings when I first started using this overnight mask. It yields little to no results without the rest of my skincare routine. After trial and error, I’ve learned that this mask works well layered over my resurfacing serum for overnight chemical exfoliation, and even better when mixed with my facial oil. I love the tiny vitamin F packed beads that help maintain hydration levels and improve skin suppleness. These beads burst of emollience and hydration when rubbed in, like a refreshing waterfall. This is a quenching mask when used correctly, but there is no glowy or dewy effect. I think this is a nice mask to have on hand, but it’s pricey for what it is.

This is the best $7 I’ve ever spent on a skincare product. On its own, this formula is thick and sticky. When mixed into moisturizers, it provides the boost of hydration I need. I use 2-3 drops depending on the condition of my skin. With my hands being extra dry from all my hand washing, I’ve even been mixing this into my hand creams and it helps tremendously. I am looking forward to repurchasing this hyaluronic acid over and over.

This gentle, soothing toner does a decent job of hydration. It makes my skin feel fresh and soft, and it even gives me a nice glow. I will continue to reach for this as my daily toner until I run out. I don’t think the benefits of this toner are unique to only this product, so I’ll try another toner once this bottle is done.
